Huge Weekend For State

Not only is NC State hosting North Carolina, the Wolfpack has elite recruit Julius Randle and others on campus.

Randle, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Plano (TX), is a consensus top-five recruit and five-star prospect in the 2013 class. He is currently on campus for his official visit to NC State, and he has already taken official visits to Florida and Kentucky. He also plans to take trips to Texas and Kansas before making a decision.

The talented combo forward won't be the only elite recruit on campus for the Wolfpack. Joining him in Raleigh will be 2013 five-star point guard signee Anthony Barber and State's two 2014 verbal commitments, Cody Martin and Caleb Martin.

New NC State head football coach Dave Doeren is also hosting several critical recruits this weekend, including current commitment Chris Burton, a tight end out of Danville, Virginia.

The most intriguing target might be Jerseyville (IL) quarterback Mitch Kimble, who had been committed to Northern Illinois before recently opening back up his recruitment. Kimble is now considering just NC State and Syracuse.
